My only requirement for the church is for it not to be our parish church because it's too close to home and the last time I saw it, it didn't look nice enough for a wedding. Lol. Sorry Father! I know for a fact that most churches in the Philippines allow you to bring your own priest for your wedding so I just wanted a church that our priest relative would be comfortable with. He's from the order of the Augustinian Recollects or otherwise known as Recoletos so obviously our church choices would be San Sebastian or San Agustin.
1. San Sebastian
Love, love the all-metal facade. When I saw the photos of the interiors, I was like... O-M-G! This is the church I want. Hahaha. Other than the information I got from people that this church is very strict with time (wedding ceremony, including picture-taking should start and end exactly on the dot), I don't think I will have other issues. Cost is at 22,000 which includes flowers, music, commentator, red carpet.
2. San Agustin
I remember my aunt getting married at this church. The facade is old... really old! Did I say it's old? Lol.
Let's see what the hubs says when he sees these churches. One week to go! So excited to go home.

Never Say Final
...unless it's already printed and have been distributed. I should have never said final. I guess because of the career dilemma I'm going through right now, I am trying to keep myself busy by playing with Macromedia Adobe fireworks. Need to get used to calling this tool Adobe! Hello Adobe!
And so I created some more invite templates that my husband does not approve because he fell in love with this layout. Annoying! I still want the simplistic vines and leaves for some reason. Now I notice at how busy the invite looks like and therefore taking the reader's eyes from our names which in my opinion is the most important part of an invite. LOL. Here it is:
So now, how do I convince hubs to reconsider?

Final Invite
Fine! I am not working during business hours!
I got this idea from a mexican restaurant's menu here in Glendale and so I thought I can use it for my invite since:
1. Originally, I wanted to incorporate Arizona on our wedding theme
2. Should also reflect nature in a sense
All of the choices below look similar. I just need to figure out which one looks best. Please help me decide which one to use.

Thank you in advance!

Wedding Invite Drafts
I honestly think I have a future in graphic design. LOL. Ok so the theme of the wedding is something that's nature inspired. I originally wanted to do an Arizona or cactus theme but then I later on realized I don't want our flowers to be all cactus. Nature theme is the closest I can think of.
Presenting, the output of my boredom....

Study 1: I dont know what kind of flowers are those but they look nice. Pls message me if you know what these flowers are called.
Study 2: Vines
I really think I have a future in graphic design. What do you think? If you want me to do a layout for your custom wedding invite, please message me and we'll see what I can do. =)
UPDATE: As of today, January 23, 2011, we're not using any of these existing invite layouts. New design coming up!

This wedding preparation is addictive. Note to self... must stop browsing wedding websites during office hours. LOL. In my attempt to save money, I started making draft monograms for our wedding. Lookie here:
Monogram #1: This was hub's first choice
Monogram #2: Hubs hasn't seen this yet since I finished it like 2mins ago
Monogram #3: I like this too!
Monogram #4: Me likey this one!!! Need to get hub's approval though.
Now with the choices above, which one to use?!? I guess I'll have to ask people around which one looks better.

And We Are Getting Married...
...for the second time around! =)
Although I have been maintaining several blogs for N-number of years now *let's try not to disclose how many years exactly*, I think it's about time to write about our upcoming church wedding in Manila. Yes, our very own wedding blog! Yehey! This is also my way of introducing my not-so-techie husband to start blogging so hopefully you'll read some of his posts here *besides his shoe entries in forums - LOL*.
Enjoy!
